Cosmos Foundation and Harmony School Systems in Texas organized an International Science Project Olympiad, I-SWEEEP (International Sustainable World (Energy, Engineering, & Environment)). I-SWEEEP 2008 was held at George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas from May 1 to May 5, 2008

Our school participated with two projects represented by Brandon Loredo and Ilgar Tan. Brandon Loredo won Bronze Medal with his Project on Energy section.

Four of our students won third place medals for the State Wide Science Olympiad project in College Station. And the other students also showed great performance. We appreciate all of our students who participated in this event.

Winners

Our, State Science Fair qualified students are already participated in Texas Science and Engineering Fair in San Antonio last weekend, April 11th, 12th and 13th. Jhoseline Vasquez from 8A won second place with her project which is in category of Behavioral and Social Sciences. Congratulations for all participants.

Harmony Science Academy students had great success in Dallas Regional Science Fair which was held on Saturday, March 27 at State Fair Park. 15 students won 17 awards, and 6 of them are going to represent our school in State Wide Science Fair at San Antonio. Jhoseline Vasquez who is one of the successful students of our school got Grand Award for her project which is about our school's GPA & Home Visiting system. Roman Stolyarov won 3 different awards for his project which is in Physics & Astronomy Division. Click here to see the list of the winners.

30 HSA Dallas students competed at the Regional Science Olympiad this past Saturday. Congratulations to our HSA students who won 2nd place in Division B. These students qualified for the Texas State Olympiad Competition in College Station, between April 25th and 26th.
